About The Coverage Journal

The Coverage Journal has reported on the wedding documentation industry continuously since 1987, excepting a planned hiatus our attorneys have asked us to describe as planned. The publication was founded to serve working professionals in a trade that had, at the time, no reporting of its own and no particular interest in acquiring any.

We cover the sector as a sector. Throughput, rates, equipment cycles, contract language, incident logs, storage economics, and the quarterly outlook are our subject matter. The wedding itself is upstream of our interest. The deliverable is the product, and the product is what we report on.

The Journal is read by studio principals, second shooters, editors, coordinators, venue operators, equipment distributors, and a number of regional associations who have asked not to be named in this paragraph. Circulation figures are audited annually and are available to advertisers on request.

Subscriptions

The Thursday Edition arrives Thursday mornings and is free. Circulation is limited to professionals and the curious, a limitation we have never enforced and do not intend to. We do not sell the list. We have been asked, on four occasions, by three parties.

Some material carries a Subscribers Only designation. The designation is applied by the desk according to criteria the desk has declined to publish. Designated material remains readable.

Reprints and permissions

Reprint requests may be directed to the desk in writing. Reproduction without attribution is a matter for the Bureau. We have not yet had occasion to refer a matter to the Bureau and would prefer to keep the record intact.

Ownership

The Coverage Journal is published by Consolidated Documentation Holdings. Editorial decisions are made by the masthead. The publisher has not sought to influence a story, and the two occasions on which it inquired about one are documented in ourethics policy.
